Christmas Day

This year we were able to celebrate Christmas with my parents. It was a relaxing time and we all had a great time. We spent all day Friday making fudge and truffles, and then went to the Christmas eve service at Good Shepherd Community Church. It was a great service with fabulous music and a story told from the point of view of one of the shepherd's in the fields when the angel appeared. They called all the kids to go up front to hear the story but still being new to the church, the boys wouldn't go up. Instead they sat up in their seats and listened intently.

Christmas morning dawned rainy and windy, but luckily not early! The kids slept in until 7:00! It was fun watching everyone open their gifts. We sent Collin on a treasure hunt for one of his gifts, a desk for his room. He went from the living room, to downstairs, to the garage, back downstairs and eventually ended up in our bedroom where we had it set up.

The rest of the day was spent playing games and just hanging out. We watched movies and enjoyed being together.

I hope that your Christmas was spent with family and that you also had a great time celebrating our Savior's birth! The aftermath!

Brian's new favorite toy...an ipod shuffle.

Brian got a pogo stick.

The kids passed out all the presents.

Papa came upstairs and immediately went back to sleep before we even started opening gifts!

Merry Christmas

Wow has it been a long time since I've posted on here. There is so much to add in order to be up to date but for now I thought I would just say Merry Christmas. If you would like to catch up on our year you can read our Christmas letter and see pics from this past year here.

I hope this Christmas season finds you all healthy and happy!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Williams!

Allison's First Haircut

Allison's hair was starting to look pretty scraggily and she had quite the mullet going so we decided it was time for her to get a haircut. And what better time than when Great Clips was having their $7.99 special! We had tried trimming her bangs a couple of times but agreed that it was time for a professional to take over.

She looked this serious the whole time she was getting her haircut. But she sat perfectly still and very quietly.

The stylist was great with Allison and was very impressed with how well she did. She saved some of the curls for me and put it in a card that said baby's first haircut on it.

Here is an after shot of her new do. I was concerned that her curls would be gone, but as you can see she still has them!
All day she kept pointing to her hair and saying "haircut" although it sounded more like "carecut." She loves her cut!

Two Weeks and Counting

In exactly 2 weeks we will be loading up a moving truck and then we will officially be Oregon residents. The kids have been doing great about moving. Every now and then they talk about not wanting to leave their school or church but for the most part they are looking forward to the new adventure.

We are very excited to move into our new house although that won't be until sometime in April. In the meantime we have rented a house in Oregon City. I'm sure I will post pics of our move as well as pics of our house once we move in. I will update our mailing address as well.

Be sure to keep us in your prayers as we go through this transition. Especially pray for the kids as this is a pretty big transition for them and they are sad to leave their friends.
